Life Story for Katja Inez Hesselgesser

Katja Inez Hesselgesser
Katja Inez Hesselgesser, 58 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born on Monday, November 24, 1958 in Amsterdam, Netherlands to Jack and Lian Wybenga. She is survived by her devoted husband, Scot Hesselgesser; four children, Annjeanette, Nicole, Jacqueline (Ruben), and James; seven grandchildren, Angelina, Kassandra, Autumn, Elijah, Summer, Gino, and Daniel; and three brothers, Ernie, Carl, and Glen. Katja was preceded in death by her son, Thomas.

While Katja was a somewhat reserved woman, she was also very caring and compassionate towards others. her children and grandchildren were the passion of her life. Her favorite thing was to be together with her family, especially on holidays. Katja was a long time resident of San Jacinto, and a graduate of South Hills High School, Delphi Business School, and Golden West College, Katja was a dedicated dependable individual with a driving commitment to her family, and to her work. She was currently employed at BMC "Building Materials & Construction Services", which she greatly enjoyed. In addition, Katja was also a former dedicated employee of Aurora Modular Industries, Modular Structures International, and the Cherry Hills Golf Club. When she wasn't hard at work as an accountant and bookkeeper, Katja loved to read. She was even still a member of "Book of the Month Club." In her mind, the pages of a book were meant to be felt and turned, not read on a screen.

Katja was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Red Cross.

Provide comfort for the family by planting a tree in memory of Katja Inez Hesselgesser, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
