Condolence From: Jane Kelley

Condolence: Pat has been our landlady for the last three years. She has been much more than that to us though. She has been a special friend. I loved her humor and enjoyed every opportunity we had to visit with her. When we were stuck in New England during the holidays due to snow, she kept texting me the weather report from home and how nice it was to be able to go out and about. That kept us laughing in spite of the below zero weather and blizzard conditions we were experiencing. What made it even more special was the fact that she was recovering from surgery and was not feeling as well as she would like to be. She was delightful! Whenever we had a need at the house, all we had to do was mention it, and it was taken care of as quickly as she could manage it. Even if we were just letting her know for information purposes. She didn't make us wait on anything. That is rare in a landlord. She worried about us when we had to be on the road, and was always happy to know we had made it safely home. Often we talked about the Lord and had prayer together. We miss her greatly! Our prayers continue to be with the family during this difficult season.
