I haven’t known you long but you so graciously shared your wonderful family with me. I learned of your love for exploring the beautiful wilderness of our country as I looked through the photo album and read Chet’s story

I want to share with you this lovely poem by Mary Beale Carr; I hope it will bring you some measure of comfort.
"The mountain wears a mellow mood today,
A haze of transient glory crowns its crest,
Where purpling blues and pinks hold cloudless sway
As evening banks long sunbeams in the West.
He who turns his face to peaceful hills
Has drunk the cup of Life that Beauty spills.

My sincere condolences Mary to you and Kathy, and the rest of your family. It is clear that Chet will be greatly missed by many and remembered fondly.
