Nancy Louise Johnstone of Hemet, California passed away on January 20, 2017

Nancy was born in California on December 10, 1937 to John & Louise Martin of New York. She married George Mooney in 1965 and had two beautiful girls. Later she married the love of her life Theodore Johnstone 1972 and moved from Glendale, Ca to San Jacinto, CA to raise their girls.

Nancy loved the beach and the mountains that was why San Jacinto Valley was such a convenient place to raise her family. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, tennis, making pottery, and playing with her dog, and of course shopping. Nancy also enjoyed to listen to music. Neil Diamond, Ann Murray, Jonny Mathis & opera which was here major in college. As a family she liked to travel Santa Barbara and Cambria /moonstone cove for vacations. She also loved to help her family pick and sell apricots from their orchard on her property. Nancy loved dogs but also had a passion for birds, she raised Cockatiels, Finches & love birds.

Nancy was beautiful, funny, very knowledgeable, and supportive. She is survived by son in law & daughter Jeff & Linda Redona of Dana Point, daughter Denise Mooney of San Jacinto, and three Grand Children Jamie, Ryan & Justin Childress all from Dana Point.

Visitation Services will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary 1501 w Florida Ave. Hemet, Ca. on 1/27/2017 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Chapel Service following at 12:00pm, and again Graveside following at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery at 1:30pm where she can be laid to rest with Ted her husband.
