Obituary for Billie Edith Jacobson

Billie Edith Jacobson, 90, of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Christmas Cottage in Hemet, California. She was born on Friday, July 16, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Edna Lawrence. Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Jacobson in 2002. She is survived by four daughters, Susan Steen, Nancy Johnston, Linda (Jon) Akers, and Diane (Jim) Palmer, ten grandchildren, Christine, Cherrell, Heather, Teresa, Erik, Tonja, Tracy, Troy, Amy, and Donny, 18 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Billie has lived in Hemet Valley for more than 30 years. She has been a very active member of the community as a member of the Red Hat Society, the Camelot Community, and other social activities with her many friends. In earlier years, Billie loved to travel around the country with her husband, Richard, in their RV. Their favorite place to go was Ft. Stevens in Oregon where they acted as guest hosts. In her younger years, Billie was a professional ballet dancer, owned her own dance school, and even owned a dude ranch.
Billie was an amazing woman who was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her
