Life Story for Oliva Gutierrez

Oliva Gutierrez, 62 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was born on Friday, September 16, 1955 in Zacatecas, Mexico, to her father, the late Jesus Gutierrez, and her mother, Petra Nava. Oliva is survived by her three children, Lucy (Raul) Chavez, Jesus Orosco, and Angelica (Jose) Navarro; seven grandchildren, Briana, Johnathan, Joshua, Jesse, Jason, Ruben, and Max; ten brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Oliva was preceded in death by her father, Jesus, and her brother, Edwardo.

Oliva was a funny, strong willed, and funny woman. She loved to laugh, and make those around her smile. She loved gardening and cooking, especially her famous homemade tortillas, and she loved her dogs, Ashley, Princess, Chu-Chu, and the late Piojito. Oliva also loved angels. She had a wonderful collection of angels, of all shapes and sizes.

But Oliva's greatest passion was for her family. She was the oldest of 12 children, so already had a lifetime of experience when she began to have children of her own. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Oliva was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
